Kolej Universiti Yayasan Pelajaran Johor (KUYPJ)

Now officially upgraded as a university college, continuing the tradition of academic excellence and TVET since 1997.

Now officially upgraded to a Kolej Universiti with effect from 7 October 2025. This achievement reflects the continued commitment to academic excellence and the development of higher education in the State of Johor.

Kolej Universiti Yayasan Pelajaran Johor (KUYPJ), fully owned by the Johor State Government, was formed from the amalgamation of Kolej Islam Johor, Institut Teknologi Perindustrian YPJ and Institut Hospitaliti YPJ on 16 July 2012. Since then, KUYPJ has continued to undergo transformation to become one of the leading HEIs in the southern region. The main campus in Kota Tinggi was inaugurated on 18 October 2016.

KUYPJ provides quality education opportunities at pre-diploma, diploma, and now Bachelor's Degree levels. Recognized as a 5-Star College (MyQUEST) and ISO certified, KUYPJ is committed to producing skilled and moral graduates. Since 1997, more than 35,000 graduates have been produced. KUYPJ also established a strategic partnership with UiTM to ensure program relevance.

Kolej Kemahiran Johor (KKJ)

Accredited JPK Training Center focusing on practical training & industrial competency.

The history of Kolej Kemahiran Johor began with the takeover of the Skills Training Centre (PLK) under the Department of Social Welfare by KPYPJ in 1997. Its main function is to conduct skills courses at the certificate (SKM) and diploma (DKM) levels across various fields to produce skilled manpower for the nation.

KKJ emphasizes 70% practical training and 30% lectures, guided by 100% NOSS standards. KKJ offers opportunities to build a career in skills with complete facilities at strategic branches.

Tadika & Taska Hikmah YPJ
