Scholarship & Education Fund KPYPJ

Yayasan Pelajaran Johor provides various loan schemes, scholarships and welfare funds to ensure that Johor children can continue their studies without financial obstacles.

Support for lifelong learning

Applications are open to Kolej Universiti Yayasan Pelajaran Johor (KUYPJ), Kolej Kemahiran Johor (KKJ) students as well as partner institutions who are studying full-time at IPTA/IPTS.

Education Loans

  • YPJ Loan: Open to KUYPJ & KKJ students (Johor born). Covers Fees & Living Allowance.
  • PTPTN (KUYPJ): Financing for Diploma & Degree programs at Kolej Universiti YPJ.
  • PTPK (KKJ): Skills Development Fund for Skills Certificate & Diploma trainees at KKJ.

Approval is subject to fund availability and sponsor terms.

Scholarship & Funds

  • Biasiswa Bangsa Johor (BBJ): Full scholarship for excellent KUYPJ students (SPM 4A+, Income <RM6,000).
  • Trust Fund: Internal financial aid / welfare for eligible KUYPJ & KKJ students.
  • EPF Withdrawal: Parents may utilize Account 2 for education financing at KUYPJ.

Application Steps

  • Check eligibility and documents on the official portal.ypj.gov.my or PTPTN website.
  • Register an applicant account, complete the online form and upload required documents.
  • Monitor application status and attend interview/verification sessions if scheduled.
  • Ensure SSPN account (for PTPTN) or YPJ documentation is complete before the deadline.
